What a Session Looks Like
We meet at the shoreline — your nervous system already starts settling before we even begin. Each session is a guided experience that blends ocean therapy principles with mindfulness, movement, and reflection. No experience needed. You don't have to be "good at" anything. You just have to show up.
The Four Movements
Is this therapy?
No — and I'm honest about that. I'm a Certified Ocean Therapy Practitioner, not a licensed therapist. This is wellness coaching and guided nature-based practice. It's powerful, restorative work, but if you're navigating serious mental health concerns, I'll always encourage you to have a licensed professional in your corner too. The two can work beautifully together.
Do I need any experience with meditation or wellness stuff?
None. Truly. If you've never meditated, never done breathwork, and feel a little awkward about all of it — you're exactly who this is designed for. I meet you where you are.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
The Gulf has moods, and we work with them. Light rain or overcast skies can actually be some of the most calming sessions. If conditions aren't safe, I'll reach out to reschedule — no stress, no lost payment.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in, water to stay hydrated, and sunscreen. That's it. I bring everything else we need.
Will we go in the water?
Only as much as you want to. Some women love standing in the shallows; others prefer to stay on the sand. There's no pressure — the shoreline works its magic either way.
How long is a session?
30-60 minutes though it rarely feels that long once you settle in.
What if I get emotional?
That's welcome here. The shoreline has a way of loosening things we've been holding. Whatever comes up, this is a safe space to let it move through you.
